2010 Daily Bible Reading Plan
At MBBC, we value the Word of God! It has the power to transform our lives, to make us more like Christ. We ask that you go on this journey with us through the Bible this year.
Distinguishing Features of Our Bible Reading Plan
• Most Sundays have no assigned reading so that you, individually or as a family, may reflect upon the text which is preached at church that day. Take this time to use the Preparing for and Responding to Worship document, here on our web site.
• Only 28 days of reading are assigned each month to give you an opportunity to meditate on passages that were significant to you, catch up on missed readings, or reflect upon other texts the Lord might be using in your life.
• The column on the left assigns a daily reading straight through the Bible–Genesis through Revelation. The column on the right gives a daily reading from either the wisdom literature or Isaiah. You can read these in one sitting, or do one in the morning and one in the evening.
Before you read: pray!
As you read: look and listen!
After you read: write (journal or record), respond and tell!
Remember: You are reading the Bible that you may know Him, be like Him, and make Him known.
